There’s something so special about getting to document the biggest moments in my clients’ lives. I’ve photographed Hayley’s family for several years now, including multiple weddings and new babies in the family. When Hayley and Richard reached out about their engagement session, I couldn’t wait to get them on the books! It was finally her turn and I couldn’t wait to celebrate with them!
For each couple, I love to create a session that truly reflects who they are and what matters most to them. Richard and Hayley share a deep love for the farm life, and since their engagement happened on their family farm, we knew we had to capture that rustic charm in their photos. I had the perfect location in mind—a gorgeous public park in Richmond, Kentucky, that blended beautifully with their vision.
The weather couldn’t have been more perfect. Even though they got engaged on a snowy January day, we lucked out with sunshine and a mild 50-degree afternoon—a true gift in the middle of a Kentucky winter! Everything came together so effortlessly, from their beautifully coordinated outfits to the golden light filtering through the trees. Their session was the perfect mix of classic, joyful photography, capturing their love in an authentic and timeless way.
Hayley and Richard are planning a Kentucky wedding on their family farm this summer, and I know it’s going to be just as stunning and heartfelt as they are. I’m beyond excited for these two and can’t wait to see what’s in story for them. Wishing them a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness!
