Paula Marie and Grant were married on the first Saturday in October. The sky was crystal clear with crisp and cool temps – the perfect recipe for a Kentucky fall wedding. They planned their day with fun, romance, and love at the center. Paula Marie loved the idea of fall colors with a “light and airy” feel – so we made the perfect match!

Grant and Paula Marie love photos (self-proclaimed “picture people”) and were enthusiastic about photos throughout their entire wedding day. We started at a friend’s home, featuring amazing natural light and a dreamy porch for portraits. We then moved to a family farm featuring a lovely farmhouse, rolling mountains, and a long country road. Onward to the stunning church, the ceremony took place at St. Catherine Catholic Church in the heart of New Haven. Lastly, the bridal party loaded up onto the Express Trolley and headed to Majestic Memories for the fun reception!

This wedding was full of picture-perfect locations as well as special details. The couple loves flowers (I’m telling you – we were an awesome match!!) so you will notice they thoughtfully incorporated flowers throughout the day. They had a ring dish featuring their wedding month flower as well as real hand-dyed flower arrangements from The Bloom Shop. Paula Marie gave me pieces of her dress to use so I used them to frame their elegant invitation suite. A favorite moment of the day was when the bride read letters from her students and if you scroll to the end, you’ll see how these newlyweds incorporated a fun moment with ice cream! Grant and Paula Marie went to Baskin Robbins on their first date and they made sure to treat guests with individual servings of Baskin Robbins as a late-night treat. I am so honored to have documented this beautiful wedding and I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from the day!
